Graduated from Wolverhampton School of Physiotherapy in 1983. He then started work at Airedale General whilst establishing his own practice in Keighley. Working part time in NHS he continued at Bradford Royal, St Lukes and Woodlands Orthopaedic Hospitals. The clinic is private and independent, accepting self-referrals for assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of a wide range of conditions and injuries. The clinic also takes referrals from local GPs and Orthopaedic Consultants based at Airedale General Hospital, the Yorkshire Clinic, Gisburn Park and the Alexander Hospital in Manchester. David completed membership examinations for the Society of Orthopaedic Medicine and a Diploma in Spinal Manipulation along with a Masters Degree in Sports Injury and Therapy. David works with Keighley RUFC and has worked with various sports clubs locally; Keighley Cougars, Keighley Albion, also Hunslet and Halifax Rugby Leagues Clubs, Yorkshire RFU and Bradford Dolphins American Football. Sue HobsonSue Hobson BSc MCSP, HPC

Sue graduated from York University with an honours degree in Physiotherapy. She has many years experience working in Physiotherapy. She currently divides her time between our clinic, and also works part time in Airedale NHS Trust within the Women’s Health Physiotherapy Team. Here at the Clinic she has vast experience of treatment of musculo-skeletal problems and sports injuries. She also teaches Pilates and specialises in Women’s Health.

Emily TaylorMags Dearden BSc MCSP, HPC

Mags qualified from Withington School of Physiotherapy in 1991. Currently she is working part time in Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust in Rehabilitation at Home. She has experience and a special interest in musculo-skeletal and general orthopaedic conditions and their treatment and rehabilitation.

Stephen BrownStephen Brown MSc MCSP, HPC PGCE (MAACP; MAPCP)

Stephen Graduated from the Royal London (University of East London) In 1993 with an Honours Degree in Physiotherapy. He was worked privately for 17years along a full time National Health Work. Stephen has extensive musculo-skeletal skills. He has worked with premier sports personnel in able bodied and Para Olympic sports and premier level sports teams – rugby and football; specialising in swimming, archery, football, rugby and dance. He has extensive highly specialist skill in paediatrics and the treatment of acquired, genetic and developmental disorder. He has set up nationally acclaimed cardiac rehabilitation programmes in Yorkshire and south Wales – completing a masters thesis on the programme set up at Airedale NHS Trust. He has worked in partnership with Airedale NHS Trust to set up pulmonary rehabilitation programmes. Stephen is also trained in acupuncture for pain relief and Neurological rehabilitation techniques for adults. Stephen is a qualified (FE) Teacher. Stephen has lectured extensively on moving and handling, ergonomics and risk assessments.

Mags DeardenCathy Middleton

Cathy is our Practice Manager and acts as personal assistant to David and the team. She has many years experience within the private sector and the NHS. Usually Cathy would be your first point of contact when visiting or telephoning the clinic.

Emily Taylor BSc MCSP, HPC

Emily graduated from Coventry University and works for Airedale NHS Trust. She works with Keighley RUFC on match days and within the clinic with Sports Injuries and specialises in Respiratory Physiotherapy.
